Justin Crounse

Property Research & Due Diligence Manager

Justin Crounse serves as Petras 1031 DST Property Research and Portfolio Analyst. He performs due diligence and underwriting for all of Petras approved Delaware Statutory Trust offerings and manages ongoing portfolio performance and investment reporting for national investment clients.

Justin is the co-creator of the Real Estate Valuation score, known as the REV Score, which stress tests, scores, and ranks every DST in the market. Petras REV Score uses both a top-down macro view and bottom-up fundamental analysis and has shown results in constraining risk and predicting investment performance outcomes.

Justin holds multiple degrees in finance, accounting, and economics, along with a masters degree in data science from Texas Tech University. He previously interned at Keybank Real Estate Capital in Dallas, assisting with underwriting and servicing permanent debt financing for multifamily properties, and worked in staff accounting at Oxy before joining Petra in 2025.

Justin lives in Aurora, Colorado with his dog Sparky. He enjoys travel, live music, and Denver professional sports.
